Asia and Central Asia

My first visit to Asia was in 1968 when I traveled to North Vietnam as part of the first student delegation to visit during the Vietnam War.

I’ve since worked with UNICEF in Tajikistan developing a strategy to reduce the reliance on residential institutions for children (‘07–’09). I’ve also worked in Bangladesh and Kyrgyzstan with Maestral International and UNICEF to develop a toolkit to map and assess child protection systems.
